What is Halotherapy?

Halotherapy, or salt therapy, involves inhaling dry salt aerosol in a controlled environment, typically in a “salt room” or “salt booth”. This practice is known to help:

Here at Salt and Light, we use the Aero Booth 4’x4’ spa which houses the Halogenerator that grinds pharmaceutical-grade sodium chloride into fine, dry salt aerosols, replicating a natural salt cave microclimate. These particles are dispersed evenly in the space, allowing inhalation to clear mucus, reduce inflammation and absorb skin impurities.

WHAT IS CHROMOTHERAPY?

Chromotherapy, also known as color therapy, utilizes the healing properties of colors to promote physical and emotional healing,. Each color is believed to have specific effects.

-Red: increases energy and stimulation

-Blue: promotes calmness and relaxation

-Yellow: encourages optimism and mental clarity

-Green: represents balance and harmony, promoting healing

Chromotherapy is apart of your halotherapy experience. You will simply sit in the booth and breathe like normal and let the healing magic of this combination enter your mind body and soul.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR SESSION

-Expect pure relaxation

-Bring a change of undergarments like a bra/underwear, swimming suit, shorts and a sports bra as you will want to wear as little as possible during your private session to receive the max benefits.

-There is real pharmaceutical-grade salt infusing the air so it will lightly coat your skin/hair. We will offer hair nets to cover your hair if you wish.

-The booth is located in a private room where you will privately be able to enjoy your session. All you have to do is turn it on, relax, and gently breathe as you normally would.

-There is a bluetooth in the booth if you wish to play your own music/audio book while you enjoy your 10 minute session

-This is an independent service but you will have guidance and support from our YOU Beauty team to show you how to use the first time and any time after if needed.
